Description
Ecumaster CAN IR Temperature Camera – Tyre or Brake Temperature Sensor
The Ecumaster CAN IR Temperature Camera is designed for motorsport data acquisition, giving real-time, contactless temperature readings for critical areas such as tyres and brake discs.
In modern motorsport, accurate temperature data is essential for setup, consistency, and performance analysis. This infrared temperature camera measures multiple points without contact and sends the data over CAN bus, allowing it to be recorded, displayed, and analysed using compatible devices such as an Ecumaster ADU or other CAN-based data systems.
Available in tyre temperature and brake disc temperature versions, the camera provides precise, high-speed temperature data for race, rally, drift, circuit, and development vehicles.
Key Features
Contactless Infrared Temperature Measurement
Provides real-time temperature readings without physical contact with the tyre or brake disc.
Tyre or Brake Disc Versions Available
Choose the correct camera version for tyre surface temperature monitoring or high-temperature brake disc monitoring.
Up to 16 Measuring Points Per Tyre
The tyre temperature version can measure up to 16 points across the tyre, giving detailed temperature distribution data.
High Accuracy
Provides precise readings with an error of less than 3°C.
CAN Bus Output
Measured data is transmitted over CAN bus for integration with displays, loggers, dashboards, and other motorsport electronics.
Compatible with Ecumaster ADU
Can be displayed and recorded using compatible Ecumaster ADU dash/logger systems.
Up to 50Hz Data Rate
Temperature data is transmitted at up to 50Hz for fast, responsive logging and display.
User Configurable CAN Stream
Flexible CAN stream configuration allows easy integration with different data systems.
Multiple Sensor Support
Fully configurable CAN message IDs allow multiple cameras to be used on the same car without CAN ID conflicts.
Ideal for Motorsport Data Analysis
Useful for tyre setup, brake performance analysis, suspension tuning, driver comparison, and trackside decision-making.
Available Versions
Tyre Temperature Camera
Designed for tyre surface temperature measurement, with a measurement range from -20°C to 300°C.
Brake Disc Temperature Camera
Designed for high-temperature brake disc measurement, with a measurement range up to 950°C.
