Link G4X XtremeX ECU LS Drive-by-Wire Bundle

A ready-to-go engine management package for Drive-by-Wire / E-Throttle GM LS V8 applications.

This bundle combines the Link G4X XtremeX ECU with the Link Terminated LS Engine Harness and LS Drive-by-Wire Adapter Loom, giving you a clean and practical way to install a modern standalone ECU without having to build the engine wiring from scratch.

Bundle Includes

• Link G4X XtremeX ECU

• Terminated GM LS Gen 3 / Gen 4 Engine Harness

• LS Drive-by-Wire Adapter Loom

The XtremeX provides 8 Injector Drives and 8 Ignition Drives, making it well suited to LS V8 applications.

Drive-by-Wire Applications

This bundle is designed for LS engines using Drive-by-Wire / electronic throttle control.

The supplied DBW Adapter Loom connects the electronic throttle system to the pre-wired connections on the Link LS Engine Harness.

Gen 3 Applications

The bundle can be used with supported Gen 3 LS Drive-by-Wire installations.

A Gen 3 DBW base map is available through PCLink to provide a starting point for setup and tuning.

Gen 4 Applications

The same terminated engine harness can also be used with Gen 4 LS engines, but additional adapters and minor modifications may be required depending on the engine specification.

For Gen 4 applications:

• A cam sensor harness extension is required for the front-mounted Gen 4 cam sensor

• A small modification is required to the crank sensor connector

• Most Gen 4 engines require injector connector adapters for USCAR-style injectors

• Factory Gen 4 knock sensors require the LS Gen 4 Knock Adapter Loom

• Factory Gen 4 MAP sensors require the appropriate MAP adapter and extension harness

• Alternatively, a Link MAP sensor can be connected directly to the engine harness

Please check the exact engine and connector configuration before ordering the additional adapters required.

PCLink Base Maps

Base maps are available for:

• Gen 3 LS Drive-by-Wire applications

• Gen 4 LS Drive-by-Wire applications

These provide a useful starting point for initial setup but are not finished vehicle calibrations.

Fuse Box and Relay Option

A Link LS Fuse Box and Relay can be added separately for customers wanting a more complete power distribution setup.

Please Note

This bundle provides the main ECU, terminated engine harness and Drive-by-Wire adapter.

Gen 4 installations may require additional adapter looms and connector changes depending on the exact engine specification.

Professional installation and final ECU calibration are recommended.
