The Link LS Gen 3 to Gen 4 Cam Sensor Conversion Harness is a plug-and-play adapter designed to allow a Gen 3 GM LS engine to use a factory Gen 4 front-mounted camshaft position sensor.

It is designed to work with the Link Terminated LS Engine Harness and removes the need to modify the wiring when converting to the later Gen 4 cam sensor arrangement.
