The MINI R50 / R53 W10 / W11 Ecumaster EMU Black Plug-In ECU is a plug-in standalone engine management solution designed for compatible MINI R50 and R53 applications, including W10 and W11 engine variants.

Unlike Ecumaster interconnector-style kits, this Plug-In ECU does not require a separate adaptor loom. The EMU Black technology is housed inside a dedicated OEM-fitment enclosure, helping reduce installation complexity and making the upgrade cleaner and easier.

The ECU is supplied in a bespoke CNC-machined aluminium enclosure designed to fit in the original ECU location, with a stock base map pre-loaded to help speed up the initial setup process.
