The Ecumaster PMU16 is a state-of-the-art power management distribution unit designed to replace traditional relays, fuses, and circuit breakers with intelligent electronic power control.

This modern power distribution system simplifies vehicle wiring, reduces weight, and adds functionality that is not possible with conventional wiring. This listing is available as either the PMU16 or the PMU16DL Data Logger version.

The PMU provides continuous current sensing and self-resetting output protection. If current exceeds a defined level, the output can be shut down and reset automatically based on the configured strategy. Output state, voltage, and current information can also be transmitted over CAN bus to compatible dash displays, helping alert the driver to potential electrical issues.

PMU16DL Data Logging Version

The PMU16DL can log output information such as output state, voltage, and current, while also transmitting relevant data over CAN bus to compatible displays and systems.

This makes it especially useful for race teams and serious motorsport users who want to monitor electrical behaviour, diagnose faults, and review system performance after each session.

CAN Interface Requirement

A CAN interface is required to communicate with and configure the PMU.

Compatible CAN interfaces include:

• PEAK-System CAN interface
• Kvaser CAN interface

The Ecumaster USB-to-CAN interface is available separately and is recommended if you do not already have a compatible CAN interface.
