This package includes the Ecumaster ADU 5 digital dash display, a pre-made ADU loom, Ecumaster GPS-to-CAN V2 module, and Ecumaster USB-to-CAN interface, giving you the key components required to install, configure, and use the ADU system with a compatible CAN-based vehicle or ECU setup.

5" High-Visibility Display
The ADU 5 features an anti-glare TFT display with 800 × 480 resolution, active display area of 108 × 64.8mm, and 600 cd/m² luminance.

Fully Customisable Dash Pages
The ADU comes with multiple pre-configured pages and supports up to 48 available pages with user-defined content and custom graphics. Pages can be changed manually or automatically based on user-defined conditions.

Advanced Alarm & Overlay System
Important data such as low oil pressure, best lap, warnings, and custom alerts can be displayed as overlays independently of the main page shown.

Integrated Shift Lights & Alarms
The ADU features 15 ultra-bright RGB LEDs which can be used for shift lights, alarms, warnings, and user-defined logic.

Lap Timing & Predictive Timing
The ADU supports lap timing with memory and predictive timing, triggered by beacon or GPS.

USB Data Logging
Data channels can be logged to a USB flash memory device at up to 500Hz.

CAN Communication
The ADU uses two independent CAN 2.0B buses and supports user-defined CAN streams with up to 48 input messages, as well as predefined streams for popular ECUs.

Ecumaster USB-to-CAN Interface

The included Ecumaster USB-to-CAN is a USB interface that allows the user to connect a PC to the CAN bus network.

It supports CAN 2.0A and CAN 2.0B standards and is equipped with an LED status diode for fast diagnostics. It also includes a switchable 120 Ohm terminator, removing the need for an external terminator in many installations.

The USB-to-CAN interface is used to communicate with Ecumaster CAN devices including:

• ADU digital dash displays
• PMU power management units
• Wheel Speed to CAN modules
• Lambda to CAN modules
• Gear Display
• Other CAN bus devices

It is required for configuring the ADU and is also useful for CAN diagnostics, setup, and tracing live CAN bus messages.

Ecumaster GPS-to-CAN V2 Module

The included Ecumaster GPS-to-CAN V2 module provides high-accuracy position tracking with a 25Hz update rate.

It is designed to work with four navigation systems:

• GPS
• GLONASS
• Galileo
• BeiDou

The module features a built-in 3-axis accelerometer and gyroscope, giving access to speed, position, heading, altitude, accelerations, and angular velocities.

All GPS data is transmitted via CAN bus, making it compatible with the Ecumaster ADU display/logger. This makes it ideal for:

• Real-time lap timing
• Predictive lap timing
• GPS speed display
• Position tracking
• Post-session data analysis
• Track mapping and logged data review

Pre-Made ADU Loom

The included pre-made loom is built for Ecumaster ADU 5 and ADU 7 displays using the original AMPSEAL connector, helping remove the stress of wiring in your own dash from scratch.

The loom includes:

• 2 pairs of fly leads for switches
• Switch inputs suitable for resetting page values and changing pages
• 1200mm connection length for power, ground, CAN bus, and GPS connection
• Port ready for CAN communication using the Ecumaster USB-to-CAN
• USB port for recording ADU logs
• Spare connector for sensor supply
• 3 pairs of 5V and sensor ground connections
• Braided sleeving for a neat, professional-looking installation

Please note that switches are not included. Please order switches separately or supply your own.

Loom Important Note

The mating connector for the main loom connection is not included.

To connect to the main connector, you will require:

• 8-way DTM socket connector
• Suitable wiring and terminals
