Description
Link IATB Air Temperature Sensor
The Link IATB Air Temperature Sensor is an NTC thermistor sensor designed to accurately measure the temperature of the air entering the engine.
When used with a compatible Link ECU, intake air temperature data can be used for air density correction, fuel delivery, ignition timing and engine protection strategies across changing operating conditions.
Suitable Applications
Compatible with:
-
All Link ECUs
-
Other aftermarket ECUs with NTC air temperature sensor inputs
-
Naturally aspirated applications
-
Turbocharged applications
-
Supercharged applications
Aluminium and steel weld-in mounting bosses are available separately.
Installation Information
The sensor should be mounted in the intake system where it can accurately measure incoming air temperature.
For best results:
-
Install upstream of the throttle body
-
Avoid areas affected by excessive heat soak
-
Use a fast-response sensor for forced induction applications
