Bearings in this set feature pMaxKote - a ceramic nano-composite polymer coating.

King pMaxKote is applied over the pMax Black Overlay in the King factory using an advanced precision automated process.

King specially produces XP shells designated for pMaxkote. The finished coated shell wall thickness remains the same as uncoated shells.

The indicated US of pMaxKote™M bearings is STD for STD clearance, STDX for additional clearance, etc. Different U/S shells can be mixed for even more exacting clearance requirements.

Note: the thermal process that cures pMaKote™M can produce random yellowish-red discoloration on the steel back. This discoloration is inconsequential to the fit and performance of these bearings.
