The ARP Rod Bolt Stretch Gauge provides an extremely useful solution to measure the length of a bolt following tightening.
This gauge has been developed to provide optimum accuracy in determining the correct pre-load in the installed rod bolt (reduce the possibility of bolt stress when the engine is under operation). The products main purpose is to assist in properly setting up a rod for resizing, obtaining the proper torque load when installed in the engine, and monitoring the condition of the bolt while in use. This is particularly useful if an engine is internally monitored regularly.
Includes heavy duty carry case for storage and transportation.
