Description

Link Razor PDM – Programmable Power Distribution Module

The Link Razor PDM is a programmable Power Distribution Module designed to replace traditional fuse and relay systems with intelligent electronic power control.

It can manage electrical devices such as fuel pumps, cooling fans, lighting, solenoids and other vehicle systems while continuously monitoring current draw and circuit status.

The Razor PDM can be used alongside a Link ECU or as a completely standalone device, with control inputs available from ECUs, switches, sensors, CAN keypads and other compatible CAN devices.

Suitable Applications

Ideal for:

  • Motorsport wiring systems

  • Performance road cars

  • Custom vehicle wiring

  • Fuel pump control

  • Cooling fan control

  • Lighting circuits

  • Solenoids and auxiliary devices

  • CAN keypad controlled systems

  • Fuse and relay replacement

  • Standalone power distribution systems

Key Features

  • Programmable electronic power distribution

  • Replaces conventional fuses and relays

  • Can operate with a Link ECU or standalone

  • Configurable over-current protection

  • Configurable short-circuit protection

  • Adjustable trip and resettable fuse parameters

  • Current monitoring

  • CAN Bus communication

  • USB-C configuration

  • CAN and USB data logging

  • Supports multiple Razor PDM units over CAN

  • Compact fully sealed CNC aluminium enclosure

Inputs and Outputs

High Power Outputs

4 x High Power Outputs

Each output supports:

  • Up to 25A continuous

  • Up to 80A safe peak

  • High-side operation

  • Low-side operation

  • PWM control

  • Paired H-bridge operation

Universal ADIO

8 x Analogue / Digital / Input / Output Pins

These can be configured as:

  • Analogue inputs

  • Digital inputs

  • Switched inputs

  • High-side outputs up to 8A each

Four ADIO pins support PWM output.

The remaining four support:

  • PWM

  • Frequency

  • Duty cycle

  • Speed inputs

Current Capacity

Combined Continuous Output: Up to 100A
Non-Repetitive Peak Current: Up to 160A

Software-Controlled Pull-Ups

4K7 to 5V

Control Strategies

The Razor PDM supports configurable control strategies including:

  • General purpose PID control

  • Mathematical functions

  • Logic expressions

  • CAN keypad functions

  • Current-based protection strategies

  • Automated circuit reset strategies

CAN Keypad Control

Compatible CAN keypads can be configured to control:

  • Razor PDM outputs

  • Compatible Link ECU functions

  • Both ECU and PDM functions

CAN keypad functionality is available with Link G5, G4X and G4+ systems, subject to ECU-specific limitations.

Communications

  • 1 x CAN Bus channel

  • 1 x USB Type-C connection

USB is used for configuration through Link's PDM Link software.

Expansion

Multiple Razor PDM units can be connected together over CAN where additional inputs or outputs are required.

Their compact size also allows individual PDMs to be positioned closer to the devices they control, helping reduce wiring length and voltage drop.
