Description
Link TGT86 Plug-In ECU – Toyota GT86 / Subaru BRZ / Scion FR-S LHD
The Link TGT86 Plug-In ECU gives you modern standalone engine management while retaining the convenience of a genuine plug-in ECU.
Designed specifically for left-hand drive Toyota 86 / GT86, Subaru BRZ and Scion FR-S applications, the TGT86 fits directly into the factory ECU location using the original mounting points, wiring loom and ECU connectors.
No replacement engine loom or adaptor harness is required. The ECU is designed to work with the factory wiring while retaining supported original vehicle functions and maintaining a clean, factory-style installation.
A startup map is included to help get the vehicle running ready for final setup and calibration.
The TGT86 includes full Direct Injection and Port Injection control along with the premium Link feature set and motorsport functionality.

2017+ Model Information
2017+ models have some differences compared with earlier vehicles and will not run correctly using the standard sample maps supplied in PCLink without the required changes.
For 2017+ engines:
-
The crank sensor is Hall Effect rather than Reluctor
-
Trigger 1 Type must be changed from Reluctor to Optical/Hall
-
Trigger 1 Pull-up must be set to ON
2017+ engines also use a different Direct Injection fuel pressure sensor.
The later sensor:
-
Uses 4 pins instead of 3
-
Requires an 8.2kΩ pull-up resistor
-
The resistor must be wired between C7 / An Volt 4 and 5V
-
DI Fuel Pressure Source must be changed from An Volt 3 to An Volt 4
-
Fuel pressure calibration must be changed to:
-
0kPa at 4.06V
-
30000kPa at 0.46V
