The BMW M52 Single VANOS Ecumaster EMU Black ECU & Plug-In Adaptor Kit is designed for BMW M52 Single VANOS engines using a compatible factory engine loom.

The kit includes an Ecumaster EMU Black standalone ECU and a BMW M52 Single VANOS plug-in adaptor. The adaptor connects the factory engine loom to the ECU, providing a straightforward standalone installation without building a complete custom engine loom.

The adaptor includes a lead for the wideband lambda sensor and a fuse to protect the wideband circuit. It is designed as a true plug-and-play solution, with no additional wiring or setup required for the basic adaptor installation on compatible applications.

Please note: a Hall effect cam position sensor from an M54 engine is required.

M54 Hall Effect Cam Sensor Required
This installation requires a Hall effect cam position sensor from an M54 engine.

Additional Leads Available
Leads for extra sensors and/or boost valve control can be supplied by request.

Ecumaster EMU Black Features

The Ecumaster EMU Black is a standalone ECU designed for performance and motorsport applications. Features include:

Lambda Sensor Notes

The EMU Black supports Bosch LSU 4.2 and LSU 4.9 wideband lambda sensors.

A Lambda to DTM lead may be required, depending on your ECU and sensor setup. It is available separately unless selected as an option.
