A ready-to-go engine management package for GM Gen 4 LS Drive-By-Wire engines including LS2, LS3, LS7 and LSA, supplied with a fuse box and relay setup.

This bundle combines the Link G4X XtremeX ECU with a terminated GM LS engine harness, the required Gen 4 adapter looms and the Link fuse and relay box, giving you a more complete installation package without having to build the engine management wiring from scratch.

The package is designed around Link's LS harness system and Gen 4 DBW base map, providing a straightforward starting point for installation, setup and final tuning.

Drive-By-Wire Control

This bundle is designed specifically for Gen 4 Drive-By-Wire LS applications.

The supplied DBW Adapter Loom allows the XtremeX ECU to control the electronic throttle system while retaining the dedicated pedal and throttle connections within the terminated harness.

The XtremeX supports advanced E-Throttle functions including:

• Gear Shift Throttle Blip

• Cruise Control

• Anti-Lag functions using E-Throttle

• Configurable throttle control strategies

Gen 4 Adapter Looms

This bundle includes the required Gen 4-specific adapters for:

• Knock sensors

• MAP sensor

• Cam sensor

• Injector connections

These allow the terminated LS harness to be used with the supported Gen 4 engine hardware.

Terminated LS Engine Harness

The supplied terminated harness provides dedicated connections for the key engine and vehicle systems required for installation.

It also provides spare inputs and outputs through a dedicated Spares connector, giving additional capacity for extra sensors, switches or custom functions.

Fuse Box and Relay Setup

This version of the bundle includes the Link LS Fuse Box and Relay.

With the fuse box fitted, the harness includes main chassis flying leads for essential power and control connections.

These include:

• Main battery positive feed for ECU power

• ECU-controlled cooling fan output

• ECU-controlled fuel pump output

• Ignition switch input

The cooling fan and fuel pump outputs are rated at 20A continuous.

Harness Connections

The harness includes dedicated connections for:

• Drive-By-Wire pedal

• CAN2 devices

• MAP sensor

• Knock sensors

• Alternator

• Transmission signals

• 4-wire Stepper IAC

• TPS

• Drive-By-Wire throttle body

Pedal Connection

The dedicated DBW pedal connector provides:

• 5V supply

• Sensor ground

• Two analog voltage inputs

This is designed for connection to a compatible Drive-By-Wire pedal assembly.

MAP Sensor Connection

The supplied Gen 4 MAP Adapter Harness allows the factory Gen 4 MAP sensor arrangement to be connected to the terminated Link engine harness.

Knock Sensor Connection

The supplied Gen 4 Knock Adapter Loom allows the factory Gen 4 knock sensors to be connected to the ECU.

Cam Sensor Connection

A dedicated Gen 4 Cam Sensor Adapter Harness is included to connect the Gen 4 cam sensor to the terminated engine harness.

Injector Adapters

The bundle includes 8 Bosch Male to Female injector adapters for connection between the harness and supported Gen 4 injector connections.

CAN Connection

A dedicated CAN2 connection is provided for compatible CAN devices including:

• Lambda modules

• Displays

• Keypads

• Other CAN-based accessories

Spare Inputs and Outputs

The dedicated Spares connector provides additional capacity for:

• Extra sensors

• Switches

• Custom functions

• Additional auxiliary controls

The chassis connector uses sealed JPT terminals for a reliable installation.

PCLink Base Map

A Gen 4 Drive-By-Wire base map is available for the G4X XtremeX platform.

This provides a useful starting point for initial setup and configuration but is not a finished vehicle calibration.

Professional installation and tuning are recommended.

Final ECU configuration and calibration must be carried out to suit the individual engine, throttle setup and vehicle specification.
